The Candle Industry in 2023: A Personal Journey with Wesley & Wade

Hello, dear readers. I'm Elise Sanchez, the proud owner of Wesley & Wade Candles. As we navigate through 2023, I wanted to share some insights into the candle industry, and more importantly, the journey of Wesley & Wade in this ever-evolving market.

1. Our Commitment to the Planet

In the face of a global push towards sustainability, the candle industry has seen many changes. Many brands, including ours, proudly use eco-friendly waxes. At Wesley & Wade, we've always believed in doing our part for the planet. That's why our candles are made from 100% soy wax, ensuring a cleaner burn. We also prioritize sustainable sourcing within the United States and use recyclable packaging, embodying our zero-waste ethos.

2. The Art of Handcrafting

There's a rising demand for unique, handcrafted candles, and I believe it's the personal touch that makes all the difference. Each Wesley & Wade candle is hand-poured with love and care in Hood River, Oregon. It's not just about the candle; it's about the experience, the story, and the passion behind it.

3. Wellness at the Heart of Our Creations

The world is increasingly recognizing the therapeutic benefits of candles. Infused with essential oils, our candles aim to transform your space into a sanctuary of relaxation. Scents like Lavender Lemon and Blue Spurce aren't just pleasant; they're a balm for the soul.

4. Embracing Modernity

While we cherish traditional candle-making methods, 2023 has shown us the importance of blending the old with the new. We're exploring innovative ways to enhance the Wesley & Wade experience, ensuring our customers always have something unique to look forward to.

5. The Joy of Sharing

One of the most exciting ventures this year has been our holiday boxes that are now available at Good News Gardening, and also a selection of Hood River inspired candles available at The Stationers on Oak Street. It brings me immense joy to curate a selection of our finest candles, tailored to our customers' preferences, and deliver them right to their doorstep and supply them to local shops.

6. Overcoming Challenges

This year, like any other, has had its set of challenges. From global supply chain disruptions to sourcing concerns, we've navigated through it all, always prioritizing quality and our commitment to you.

7. Looking Ahead

The future is bright, not just for Wesley & Wade but for the entire candle industry. As we continue to research and innovate, I'm excited about the possibilities that lie ahead, from augmented reality integrations to advanced aromatherapy benefits.
